Why Does Church Sound Feel So Frustrating?
Let’s be real:
Most church audio engineers never get proper training.
You’re thrown into the booth, expected to make it work, and left to figure it out through trial by fire, YouTube rabbit holes, and late-night troubleshooting.
And the truth is… even when you want to improve, you’re stuck in the cycle of guessing, tweaking, and hoping that this Sunday will sound better than the last.
Then, the problems pile up:
• Vocals that sound muddy or buried in the mix
• A livestream that’s inconsistent and frustrating for anyone watching online
• Gear that feels underutilized or confusing to operate
• PA systems with lingering issues you can’t quite fix
• Constantly feeling under-trained and under-equipped for the job you’re expected to do.
Sound familiar? You’re not alone.
Get ready to have your best mix ever.
Stop Guessing. Start Knowing.
What if you knew exactly how to get the sound you want, every time?
Picture this:
- Vocals that cut through with clarity week after week
- A livestream that sounds consistent for every listener
- Gear that finally makes sense (and works for you, not against you)
- A PA that feels tuned and dependable
- The freedom to focus on worship instead of troubleshooting
This isn’t wishful thinking. This is what happens when you stop guessing... and start mixing with proven frameworks, hands-on skills, and real-world training.
And that’s exactly what you’ll get inside The Mix Lab.
This Isn’t a Conference. It’s a Lab.
Introducing The Mix Lab!
Two days. One mission:
Equip you with the hands-on skills to deliver your best sounding Sunday ever.
Mix live. Learn fast. Leave confident.

Trusted by Thousands of Church Sound Engineers
You're getting access to our our first in-person event,
but it’s not certainly our first time training church audio techs.
Through Worship Sound Guy's online courses, presets, and other resources, we’ve already equipped over 10,000 church sound engineers around the world, helping them move from guessing behind the console to mixing with confidence.
Your courses make it so easy to learn. Super easy to follow and great presentation!

Why now?
⚡ Don’t Miss Out.
This isn’t the kind of event you can put off for “someday.”
Only 30 5 in-person seats are available, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.
Once registration closes, your chance to get hands-on training at d&b HQ is gone.
👉 If you’re serious about sounding incredible every Sunday, this is your moment.
❓ Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers.
Is this beginner friendly?
Absolutely. We designed Mix Lab for beginner to intermediate engineers. Beginners will stretch their skills without feeling overwhelmed, and intermediates will sharpen and master what they already know.
Will this just be a big sales pitch for gear?
Not at all. While d&b audiotechnik and Waves are helping us host, Mix Lab is all about practical training. No product pitches, just real-world skills.
Do I need to bring any gear with me?
Nope! Everything will be provided at the event — consoles, PA, mics, playback, even meals! Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn.
Does it matter if I'm not using the same gear you are?
Not a problem! We've specifically designed Mix Lab to be "gear agnostic". That means we're teaching skills and techniques, not specific equipment. No matter what you're using, this will work for you!
What if I can’t make it in person?
No problem. Grab an Online Pass for livestream access + the full replay + all the resources.
Will the event be recorded?
A: Yes! Every ticket includes access to the full event recording so you can revisit the training anytime.
Will there be food??
A: Asking the important questions! And the answer is YES! d&b is providing catering for everyone as part of your ticket price. No need to bring food.
Can I bring my team?
A: Of course! We encourage it! Everyone in your group will need to purchase their own ticket/registration.
